My little boy and I were just having the conversation about Uniqua so i had to look it up. We had decided that she was a creature that represnted all of the reptile or amphibious creatures or a martian after the choices of a pig, a turtle with no shell, a short and stubby inch worm, a butterfly with no wings, and a lizard. I finally found an explaination and it said that she is made up, she is "unique". That is why her name is "Uniqua". This is hilarious! I noticed in one episode there's a framed picture of the whole family, including parents, but they never actually show up. Rather disturbing.
