The one year mark is getting awfully close…
Prenatal Visit

Jack listens for the baby’s response…

Not so squeaky clean…
NOTE: I imported the posts from Blogger into my new blog, and moved the pictures for the more recent posts, but the posts before this date may or may not display the pictures included in the post because they’re linked to Blogger. Sometimes when I load the page the pictures are there and sometimes not. If you’re interested, please visit the old blog.

Jack really enjoyed his first teething biscuit, can you tell? Note to self: do not give Jack a biscuit when he is tired, because moist gooey hands are not good for rubbing one’s eyes.
It used to be so easy…
to take Jack’s picture with the bear each month. We’d prop him up, and he’d smile such a cute smile. Alas, those days are gone…

Pulling Grandpa’s Leg

Jack’s great joy in life for the past couple of weeks has been practicing his new skill of pulling up. We put him down in the middle of the floor to play and he immediately begins to crawl to the nearest thing he can pull up on. When I put him down for “night-night”, no matter how tired he is, he must pull up in the crib at least once. I know he’s done it when I hear the celebratory “Aaaaaaaggghh” in the trademark Jack growl that sometimes reminds one of the demon in The Exorcist. Good thing Mark is ordained, just in case.
Piano Lessons Anyone?
Now that Mark has a permanent job here in Columbus, which we’re very grateful to God for, I am trying to build up a piano studio. If you happen to hear of anyone who is looking for a teacher I would appreciate you passing along my name and number (614-864-2616). I will also do short term voice coaching to prepare for choir or other auditions, but I don’t plan on teaching voice on a long term basis. (My strengths in the voice instruction area are much more suited to coaching preparation for a specific goal than long term instruction.)
Thanks!
Bear Pictures
Per the request of Miss Judy today at “L at the W”, I have put all of the bear pictures on one web page since it’s fun to see them all together and watch that white teddy bear shrink! Here’s the link to the page and I’ll put a link in the sidebar for future reference.

Jack has given up rolling for the more efficient crawling, and can pull up to standing in his crib. His top two teeth are coming in, so he is a veritable fountain of drool right now. Only 3 more months of formula! Yay!
